i think youd enjoy those maps you listed a lot more if you played oddball or territories on them. i would appreciate veto as well so i can avoid playing the same map 5 times in a single day, but i do like every map. this is why we need veto for people like you. which is a good thing if youre not solo Q'd But 13 years later it is still getting new maps. The only map i half agree with is narrows and kind of agree with heretic/midship. Halo 3 is a very good (and yes, very old) game, being released back in 2007. I've played Midship and Heretic hundreds of times and I'm sick of it. Great map, seeing as it's just a remake of Midship but it's also super common. I hate the central bridge, I hate the snipers, I hate how narrow everything is, almost every time I play that map it's a slog. It's just kind of bad, I don't like it and it's kinda ugly. I just don't really like the upper platforms and how you navigate through the map. It's a bargain bin version of Lockout with worse level design and weapon placement.Įpitaph. i will play any map except wizard and its remakes (i actually like wizard, but its remakes are rly bad in other games) Guardian.
only give examples for social since comp is dead anyways. ElDewrito is a community-made mod for Halo Online allowing multiplayer games to be played in player-hosted servers and aims to restore removed features, fix bugs and glitches, and add mod support.
literally drag the map into the folder and add it to the next update I got a hold of Halo Online (just the maps part because being in the US and all) and wanted to do a quick overview of them in 1080 60FPS for your enjoyment. just add 1 new custom map every couple months and people will be hyped af for that (they could go on for years without running out of high quality original maps).Īnd unlike the halo online maps these maps should port over perfectly without any sort of fiddling required.
theres so so so many custom maps made by mappers on pc in the last 15+ years to choose from.
Id rather 343 add some of the very popular custom CE maps from 2003 and the custom 2C maps from 2007. The new release adds six new maps, all from Halo 3High Ground, Last Resort, Narrows, Standoff, The Pit, and Sandtrapplus IP banning and increased audio channels, from 64 to 1024. but they also wouldnt fit into the asthetic as you said. they might add the 3-4 maps that were made by saber interactive which would be kinda cool. then when i queue for my favorite niche game mode that most people hate (oddball) ill have a good chance of getting a match in under 10 mins.Īlso to answer your original question 343 is not gonna add the maps because 2-3 of the 'new' halo online maps are re-skinned halo 3 maps, like do we really need 2 versions of avalanche in halo 3? lol. i know farns or whoever said that its too complicated for 343 to change but it would really help the game out if i can search for 2v2 4v4 FFA and BTB all at once. do we really need to pick and choose maps now? i think we need to alter 1 of these filters if anything. You already have 5 filters that segregate people.
You can check the full patch notes for the season 6 update over on the Halo Support website, but otherwise, the season 6 update is ready to download today on Xbox consoles and PC through both Steam and the Microsoft Store.引用自 Sal:theres plenty of filters already man Where? 1 player imput Of course, new features aren’t the only component of this patch, as there are a number of fixes and changed shipping along with it as well.
There’s also a new feature called The Exchange, which is basically a new in-game shop that will rotate in items from previous seasons and new items alike as a way of allowing those who weren’t around from previous seasons a chance to obtain those items. Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4 are all getting a new game mode called Escalation Slayer, which grants players a new weapon every time they secure a kill.
Originally from Halo Online, Waterfall is now available in custom games within Halo 3, so those who don’t mind taking a break from ranked playlists can check out a slice of Halo history that has rarely been seen before. The design director, Max Szlagor, made a blog post that mentioned potentially having multiplayer maps from Halo Online be made available on The Master Chief Collection. An update on December 14th added new playlists for Slayer, Fiesta. For a look at some of the new cosmetics, check out the trailer for Season 6: Raven below.Ĭosmetics are just a portion of the update though, and perhaps the biggest addition shipping along with it is a new map called Waterfall. You can’t select your game mode in Halo Infinite multiplayer. You just can’t.Players have had to find their own workaround. In fact, the new season is officially titled Season 6: Raven, so the inspiration should be clear. Starting things right off, a lot of the cosmetic unlocks in season 6 are centered around Fireteam Raven.
